Geofence Category

Geofence Categories enables FM to track when their fleet enters certain set of predefined geofence groups such as restricted zones, work areas and other sectors. 

For example, whenever a miner truck travels to a blast area, a FM will receive a notification.

Whenever a fleet enters or leaves any warehouse, the FM gets notified

Basis the Geofence Categories, FM might want to:

• Subscribe to an alert when the vehicle exits any warehouse (geofence category)

• Create a trip when vehicle leaves from any warehouse and reaches any distribution center etc.
  

Users can add Geofence Categories in the system from the geofence page. While creating or editing any new geofence, users can also assign any existing geofence category to the same

Assigning geofence category to the geofence is non-mandatory. However, at any point in time, there can be at max one geofence category that can be mapped to a geofence.
