Alert Triggers and Notifications

Alert Trigger Mechanisms:

Alerts within Loconav's Alerts Module can be triggered through various mechanisms:


  • Real-Time Monitoring: Specific alerts, such as geofence entry/exit, SOS, device removal, and more, operate in real-time. They are generated as soon as the event is captured by the system.

    • Ignition On / Off 

    • Device Power Unplug 

  • Scheduled Checks:For other types of events, specific conditions need to be satisfied for the alert to be triggered. For example, overspeed alerts or distance-covered alerts require predefined conditions to be met before generating notifications.

    • Overspeed 

    • Distance Traveled Alert 

Notification Channels of Communication Channels 

Users can receive alerts through multiple notification channels, allowing them to stay informed promptly. These notification options include:


  • Web Notifications: Receive alerts directly within the Loconav FMS platform.

  • App Notifications: Get real-time updates through the mobile app.

  • Email: Alerts can be sent via email, providing users with a detailed record.

  • SMS:For certain alerts, SMS notifications are available, although they are chargeable to the client.


Users have the flexibility to choose the notification channels that best suit their preferences and operational needs.
