Trip Monitoring Time Period
Since a trip is a planned movement between the given start point (source) and end point (destination), the system also monitors the trip for a planned/finite time period, known as the Trip Monitoring Time Period.
How is the Trip Monitoring Time Period defined?
By Default, a trip is monitored from:
A) 1 hour prior to the scheduled departure time from the source (or scheduled trip start time)
B) Until 24 hours after the Scheduled arrival time at destination or Estimated arrival time at destination (or scheduled trip end time)
Both A) and B) above are configurable and can be updated for an account as needed.
