What is a Trip?

Trip is a planned movement of a vehicle between one or more locations.


A trip, generally has a predefined:

  • Starting point (source)

  • End point (destination)

  • Stop Locations in between (checkpoints)



There are 2 key elements wrt Trips:


  • Trip Creation

    • A trip can be created either manually or automatically as per defined workflows

  • Trip Monitoring

    • By default, a trip is automatically monitored by the system as per defined workflows

    • In case needed, user can monitor and update the trips manually as well
