How to edit a geofence?

An existing geofence can be updated via any of the following manners: 


  • Manually updating geofence from the platform

  • Updating existing geofences using bulk action

  • Using available APIs to updating existing geofences


Manually updating geofence from the platform


User can now edit any existing geofences manually. While editing geofences using the bulk upload feature, user can:


  • Change the geofence from default shaped to custom shaped, and vice-versa

  • Mark the geofences as ACTIVE/INACTIVE

  • Assign ‘Geofence Category’ to the geofences

  • Update ‘Geofence Tags’ 


How to manually update a geofence


  1. User can search the geofence under the all geofence page

  2. Click on the edit icon available against the geofence that the user wants to update

  3. Update the geofence details as required.

  4. Click on Save to update the geofence
