Trip Deviation
Trip deviation is considered when the vehicle deviates from the predefined expected path of the trip.
The default value for deviation for considering route deviation is that the vehicle should be at least 500 meters away from the nearest expected path for at least 2 mins.
Note: both the distance (500 meters) and time (2 mins) values for deviation are configurable at account level.
In such a case, the expected path saved under route will be used to determine if there was any route deviation or not
Currently, while creating a trip from the create trip page, the optimal path (as suggested by the map provider) is shown to the user
The user has an option to enable trip deviation for the trip based on the given optimal path and get alerts as and when the vehicle deviates from the given path.
