Generating Reports on the Platform

The ‘Reports’ module on LocoNav offers a diverse selection of over 50 reports. You can effortlessly view and download reports encompassing crucial aspects such as vehicle utilization, fuel consumption, maintenance history, driver performance, and more. These predefined reports provide fleet owners with a holistic view of their fleet's performance, enabling them to make data-driven decisions and optimize operational efficiency.

In addition to the extensive report library, you also get the power to automate the generation of reports using the Report Scheduler. With this, you can create periodic schedules for generating reports, ensuring that critical information on driver and vehicle performance are delivered to your inbox in a timely manner. With LocoNav’s ‘Reports’ module, you can analyse past trends and gain rich insights to make profitable business decisions.
  • Step 1: Select the ‘Reports’ module from the side navigation menu, and click on ‘All Reports’.  A dashboard will appear with all reports available on the platform, along with the report description.



  • Step 2: Select the report of your choice.


  • Step 3: To generate a pre-designed report, hover over the report of your choice and click on ‘Generate Report’.

             


  • Step 4: Choose the Date Range for which you want to generate the report. You can choose a range of up to 31 days. Please note that the reports can be generated for up to 6 months of historical data.



  • Step 5: Fill in all the fields for the respective report, such as Sub User Name, Vehicle Group Name, and Vehicle Number. This will filter the data for the specific vehicle you want the generate the report for.

                  

  • Step 6: Click ‘Generate Report’.

  • Step 7: All generated reports can be accessed under the ‘Recently Generate Reports’ column.

            

  • Step 8: You can download or share reports via email in PDF, CSV, or XLSX formats. To download the report, click the Download button. Alternatively, click the 3 dots and select ‘Email Reports’, to share reports over email. 

You can generate, download  & share as many insightful and tailor-made reports as you like.


Q. How to Build a Custom Report on LocoNav

  • Step 1: Can't find the desired report? No worries, we’ve got you covered! Select the ‘Reports’ module from the side navigation menu, and click on ‘All Reports’.  A dashboard will appear with all reports available on the platform, along with the report description.



  • Step 2: Click on ‘Create a Custom Report’ to build a custom report from scratch.



  • Step 3: Pick a category for which you want to build your Custom Report.
     

  • Step 4: Select the column category to choose column values, which are grouped under categories such as - vehicle, account, device, driver, fuel & expense properties.


  • Step 5: Add the column values and customize the column placement, column names, report name, and more as per your requirements, and click ‘Continue’ to save the custom report template.

                  

  • Step 6: Navigate to the ‘Reports’ module dashboard and search for the custom report template you created. Al custom report templates are displayed under ‘My Custom Reports’ section. 

  • Step 7: Click on the "Generate" button and fill in the necessary details such as the date range, sub user name, vehicle group name, vehicle number and report type.

  • Step 8: Click on ‘Generate Report’.

  • Step 9: All generated reports can be accessed under the ‘Recently Generate Reports’ column.


  • Step 10: You can download or share reports via email in PDF, CSV, or XLSX formats. To download the report, click the Download button. Alternatively, click the 3 dots and select ‘Email Reports’, to share reports over email. 

You can generate, download  & share as many insightful and tailor-made reports as you like.

Q. How to schedule a report?

  • Step 1: Select the ‘Reports’ module from the side navigation menu, and click on ‘Report Schedules’. A dashboard will appear with a list of reports that have been scheduled by you.



  • Step 2: To schedule a new report, click ‘+ Schedule a Report’.


  • Step 3: A Report Scheduler form will appear. Choose the report that you want to schedule.


  • Step 4: Fill in the other relevant details such as the Sub User Name, Vehicle Group, Vehicle Number, and more, for which you want to schedule the report.


  • Step 5: Set the frequency at which you want to receive the report in your mailbox. You can choose to receive the report daily, weekly, or monthly. Please note:

    • For weekly frequency, the report will be sent to you every Sunday.

    • For monthly frequency, the report will be sent on the first day of every month.

  • Step 6: Select the time at which you want to receive the report, along with the period for which the data should be populated in the report.


  • Step 7: Select the format in which you want to receive the report. The report is available in CVS, PDF, and XLSX formats.

  • Step 8: Enter the email address(es) where you want the report to be delivered. You can also add a subject line and body text to customize the email content.


This way you can easily schedule as many reports as you want.
